降低噪音vs提昇效能，調整硬碟參數工具 Hitachi Feature Tool




要是覺得硬碟太吵，就開啟 AAM 吧

先用 HD Ture 檢查你的硬碟
有無支援 Automatic Acoustic Managemen (自動聲音管理)

再用 Hitachi Feature Tool 調整
enable 後效能速度降低，但安靜、低溫、省電
disable 後效能速度較高，但較吵、較燙、耗電(但耗不了多少瓦)

簡單一句話就是：犧牲效能達到安靜省電效果

Feature Tool User's Guide 說明文件
Diskette creator for Windows exe檔，安裝到軟碟片，以軟碟開機
Binary diskette image (for non-Windows OS) img檔，for 非 windows 系統
CD image iso檔，燒成光碟，以光碟開機


簡單步驟：
1. 下載 Hitachi Feature Tool (*.exe *.img *.iso 依需求擇一下載即可)
2. 安裝到軟碟片以軟碟開機 or 燒錄成開機光碟片
3. 去 BIOS 將硬碟改成 IDE模式 (SATA 硬碟必做)
    改開機順序，將軟碟 or 光碟設為 Frist ，硬碟 second
4. 找 Change Acoustic Level 修改
     (128為安靜模式254為一般模式)
5. save and reboot

效果如何？
絕大多數的人都有感覺到效果、比較安靜
但是沒感覺的人還真的沒感覺...= ="

注意：
修改 Change Cache Settings、Change Capacity 等參數時
硬碟如有重要資料請備份，以免 Feature Tool 做寫入動作導致資料遺失
